This remnant will be replaced soon. The FAQ is back, with a new design! Who (and where) is Marley? Marley (aka Mar Mar) was Trey's beloved dog, a mixed breed, mostly golden retriever. Once very energetic and protective of Trey, she gradually became a senior citizen by dog standards (14 as of June 1999), and finally passed away. Trey mentioned Marley in a rambling "Dog Log" (date unrecalled),and held her up during an old encore. She can be seen: in the "Down with Disease" video in the Picture of Nectar liner notes, where she is listed under the Road Crew as "security" in the Billy Breathes liner notes in the A Live One liner notes, as the last thank you, and there's a picture in the booklette insert, from in front of Mt. Rushmore. in an old newsletter (see right) on Trey's guitars -- an inlaid bubble saying "I am the Mar Mar" above the headstock on his main guitar (see above), and an inlay of a younger Marley on his other guitar (see left).
